You don’t have to be perfect to be confident

Repeat after me, “I don’t have to be perfect to be confident.” ? ?

I know how much this idea can really weigh us down. ?
We think that something needs to look or be “perfect” in order to accurately represent who we are, how we are. ?
Even if it was made or exists in pure chaos – we put on a “filter” of perfection, because we so desperately want validation from places outside of ourselves in order to boost our own sense of self. ?
I get it. ?
I used to get stuck there. ?
Perfection paralysis. ?
If it couldn’t be exactly like what I envisioned it, or wanted it to be, I just wouldn’t do it. And that inertia inevitably bred more intertia. ?
(Translation: being stuck led to being lazy. But in my mind I was just “waiting” for the right time.)?
Praise hands that if you relate. ?
…?
But here’s the thing – we don’t have to stay stuck there. ?
I have spent the last few years digging out of that place, and now that’s what I help other beautiful women who have gotten stuck in that paralysis of perfection do – ?
Address the issues head on (but you don’t have to do it alone)?
Replace the stuck mindset with a moving mindset?
Move forward strongly with clarity and confidence?
…?
This year has been kind of a struggle bus world tour for so so many of us – in ways that are as varied as our personalities. ?
But you can start TODAY to shift that. ?
It starts with a decision. ?
One simple tiny decision:?
To show up confidently, ?
even if it feels imperfect. ?
You can decide to be confident ?
BECAUSE you’re imperfect. ?
That’s what makes you wonderful. ?
?
I’m so glad you’re here. ?
I love you~ ?
And if you’re ready to start loving yourself, ?
imperfections and all.
